Features of Agrico G3 Center Pivot

Stable Center structure 

The G3 center pivot has multiple center structures contributing to its efficiency. Our center structures feature long-lived seals and stainless steel electrical cable conduits, avoiding the problems associated with external collector rings. Our three-legged structure is the strongest and the most durable on the market, while our robust sloping-pipe center saves money and cost with eased towing. They are available in fixed and towable versions.  

Ultra-strong machine structure 

We build our G3 center pivots with high-quality steel. The pipes, flanges, and angles are 355 WA steel with a yield strength of at least 355 MPa and ultimate tensile strength ranging from 450 MPa, the least, to guarantee extra sturdiness. Other structural features include an ultra-strong rod pocket, 16 mm flange bolts, truss rods manufactured using EN8 steel, 10 mm thick flanges, and one-piece factory-welded leg assemblies. 

Optimized span design 

The high bow in our center pivots allows for span lengths of up to 67m. The extended length capability is down to the dedicated tower and pivot-end pipes at the beginning and end of each span, reinforced at critical points to eliminate the buckling problem that other pivots encounter. 

Rust-free control system 

Our G3 center pivots use high-quality components and branded electrical switchgear. These include rust-free stainless steel as the main panel enclosure, a rust-free UV-stabilized, and a fiber-reinforced polyester tower box with a solid stainless steel control rod to ensure the ultimate durability. All this is in place to avoid the system collapsing or breaking down. 

Extra thick galvanizing 

The pipes used in the G3 center pivots undergo galvanization to prevent rusting and extend their lifespan. The galvanization process is consistent with industry standards, increasing the lifespan by at least 1.2 times more than the average pipe. 

Compatible with LEPA

Like the G4, the G3 is also compatible with LEPA(Low Energy Precise Application), making the sprinklers closer to the ground. The compatibility helps achieve uniformity in water application with low effort and energy required. The sprinkler places water directly at the root zone, reducing evaporation and allowing the crops to thrive with the optimal amount of water for growth and development.
